Butterflies - LARGE WHITE, SMALL TORTOISESHELL, RED ADMIRAL, 3+ SMALL HEATH, 15+ SMALL SKIPPER, 5 SMALL/ESSEX SKIPPER, 2 LARGE SKIPPER, 291 MEADOW BROWN, 25 RINGLET, 3 SPECKLED WOOD, 265 MARBLED WHITE
Insects - 2 DOCK BUG, 989 COMMON RED SOLDIER BEETLE, GREAT PIED HOVERFLY
Today was mainly about counting the Butterflies more accurately and also the Common Red Soldier Beetles which would have exceeded 1000 but I didn't have time to check every umbellifer. Many of the birds & insects were similar species & numbers to yesterday so I've only logged species not seen yesterday.
